Opera House Project short listed for property award
The Klin Group's Opera House Project has been short listed in The Scottish Property Awards 2014. It will compete against three other entries in the Town Centre Regeneration Project of the Year category. The development, known as the Encore Project, was delivered by Klin in partnership with East Ayrshire Council and involved the restoration of the former Opera House on John Finnie Street, which lay derelict for 25 years following a devastating fire. The building's B listed facade was restored and the internal office space is now used by around 300 council staff.
