£5.3 million for Ayrshire
The Scottish Government is to invest £5.3 million to turn a former Kilmarnock bottling plant into a low carbon development, which will include hundreds of affordable homes.
Taking HALO to Belfast
This week Marie Macklin CBE visited Belfast to meet political, education and community leaders, business people and investors with the aim of taking the HALO urban regeneration concept into the heart of the city.

The UK Government is to invest £3.5 million in an ambitious regeneration programme in Kilmarnock, Scottish Secretary David Mundell announced today [Tuesday 8 August]. The HALO project in the former Diageo bottling plant will strengthen Ayrshire’s economic prospects, create nearly a thousand new jobs and benefit local businesses and residents.
